THEIR NUMBER’S TRIPLE-OH
There was movement at the station
Cause the cops were somewhat bent
The local crooks had said
It’s always money that’s well spent
You take a wad of ready cash
Then find a cop gone bad
It’s better that you hand it to them
In a paper bag
There’s certain coppers that you call
So many on the take
Inspector Klepczarek’s your man
If laws you wanna break
He’ll soon make pesky charges
Disappear if you’re a crook
You pay him for protection
And he’ll get you off the hook
If journalists come calling
And allege you’re into crime
He’ll stitch them up on charges
And they’ll soon be doing time
Another crooked copper you can call
If come unstuck
Old Matt McCarthy’s somewhat bent
You won’t be out of luck
He likes a little kick back
And I’ve always had a hunch
You pay him cash in bags of brown
Just like your little lunch
There’s also Brendan Bernie
An inspector of repute
You have a little trouble
With a criminal dispute
You only have to pay him cash
It’s best within a bag
You’ll soon be proven innocent
It’s always iron-clad
So if you are a local crook
A councillor corrupt
There’s coppers in this crooked town
Will help you cover-up
And when you need a dirty cop
The type that is gung-ho
You simply call the local cops
I think it’s Triple-Oh
