You might have heard our eggs are certified carbon neutral - it’s something we’re pretty proud of. But what does that mean for life on the farm?
It means we use solar energy throughout our entire egg production system, including for our groundbreaking rotating sheds.
It means all our feed is either grown on our farm, or sourced locally.
It means you’ll often see us out and about, planting trees on our land to promote biodiversity.
It means using our livestock manure to promote soil carbon storage in our free-range and cropping areas.
But we’re not stopping at our eggs! We’re aiming for the entire farm to be carbon positive by 2027 – because at Yallamundi Farm, we’re all about making life better for generations to come.

Looking for an organic egg thats kinder to animals, people and the planet? Yallamundi Farms carbon-neutral organic eggs are laid by hens raised within the spacious surrounds of shady olive groves on our third-generation family farm. Housed at only 750 birds per hectare - twice the amount of space required by organic standards - our eggs are free from chemical fertilisers, pesticides and herbicides, and laid by hens fed a certified organic diet. The carbon-neutral eggs are handpicked and packed into 100% biodegradable and compostable egg cartons, and carefully brought from our home to yours.
As part of our commitment to leaving the world a better place, every sale of Yallamundi Farm eggs results in a donation to the Doug Hall Foundation, which supports education and wellbeing projects for Aussie kids.
